  Clean and reset small headstones and footstones

  Fund professional repair of larger memorials

  Partner with area organizations to fund preservation

     of memorials connected to them

  Provide volunteers for landscape maintenance

  Partner with arborists in a tree management program

  Design, develop, and implement landscape gardens for beautification

Interpret

  Prepare and deliver walking tours designed to

     discover Vine Lake Cemetery, to honor

     veterans, to celebrate famous and noteworthy

     persons, to distinguish gravestone art and

     carvers, to introduce but not solve mysteries

     about the cemetery

 Partner annually with the Dale Street 4th Grade

     teachers and students for a Treasure Hunt

 Produce a self-guided walking tour map

Celebrate

  Publish a free, monthly email newsletter ‘Quiet Times’

  Sponsor theme-oriented photography contests in the cemetery

  Partner with the Medfield Cultural District to deliver programs

  Present programs on request at local and state-wide events

  Introduce the Trust to the community at September’s Medfield Day

  Prepare and conduct tours for visiting family historians

 

   Coordinate tours for Medfield homeowners with historical connections

      to earlier homeowners interred in the cemetery
